At Bearded Heart Coffee, health and safety have always been our number one priority.  Now more than ever, we want to assure our guests that we are taking every precaution to maintain a clean and safe environment for every member of our Bearded Heart family, staff and patrons alike!  Here are some of the new steps that we are taking currently.  As news and restrictions concerning the current health crisis change, our policy will adapt as needed.  We hope to see you relaxing on our front porch with friends, enjoying a latte very soon.  For now, we thank you for understanding that these measures are important in order to keep us all safe and healthy.

Actions:

All staff to undergo additional training on best practices for safety and hygiene related to covid-19.

Strict policy that all staff wash hands frequently for 20 seconds each time, at least every 30 minutes.  Staff must wear gloves, mask and apron at all times and have hair pulled back.  Sanitizer bottles are kept handy in each workstation and are refilled frequently. 

Clear signs indicate food pick up areas to guests.  Guests are encouraged to keep safe distance from staff and other customers. Customers are not permitted to enter the building or use the restroom.  Hand sanitizing stations will be made available to guests.  

Food and drinks are ordered online or by phone and are available for take out only, not to be enjoyed on the premises.  All payments are made online or by phone.  Credit cards are generally not accepted in person. Cash is not accepted.  Orders are placed on a pick up table on front porch when guest arrives. Pick up table is sanitized regularly.
